Privacy Policy

This website is run by Rohith S, trading as Stark Consultancy ("we", "us"), based in India. We decide how the personal information collected here is used, and we are responsible for it. For anything about your data, email rohithsakkaravarthi@gmail.com.

We only collect what you choose to send us through the forms on this site:

• Book a session form: your name, email address, mobile number (optional), up to two preferred meeting times, and any message you write.
• Catalogue / demo unlock form: your name, email address, and mobile number.
• With both forms: the page you submitted from, and a record that you agreed to be contacted (with the date, time, and version of this policy).

We use this information only to:

• reply to your request, arrange the session, and send you the catalogue you asked for;
• follow up about that request; and
• understand which pages bring in enquiries.

We do not sell your information, share it for others' marketing, or add you to a newsletter. If you send us sample business data to build a preview, it is used only for that preview and deleted on request.

Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing rohithsakkaravarthi@gmail.com; we will then stop contacting you and delete your details as described below.

• Spam protection: when you submit a form, your IP address and email address are turned into a one-way code (a hash) and counted to limit repeated submissions. The original addresses can't be read back from the code, and the counts are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
• Server logs: our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and the page requested) to run and secure the site.
• Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies. See Cookies below.

We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Google (Gmail, Google Sheets): form submissions are emailed to us and recorded in a Google Sheet, so no enquiry is lost.
• Google Analytics: page-visit statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Vercel: hosts this website and processes form submissions.
• Upstash: stores the hashed spam-protection counters described above.

These providers may store data on servers outside India, including in the United States. They are bound by their own security and privacy commitments, and we only use them for the purposes above.

• Enquiries that don't become a project: deleted from our Google Sheet and our email 12 months after our last contact with you.
• Clients: kept for as long as the engagement lasts, then as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
• Spam-protection counters: deleted automatically within 24 hours.
• Analytics data: kept for 2 months in Google Analytics, then deleted.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct or update it;
• delete it; and
• stop contacting you (withdraw consent).

To do any of these, email rohithsakkaravarthi@gmail.com from the address you used on the form, with the subject "Data request". We will reply within 30 days. For a deletion request, we remove your details from our Google Sheet and email, and confirm once done.

If you have a concern about how your data is handled, contact Rohith S at rohithsakkaravarthi@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the data protection authority where you live.

• Analytics cookies (optional): Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to count visits and see which pages are used. They are only set if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. You can change your choice any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
• Essential local storage: your browser remembers your cookie choice and whether you have unlocked the demos. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email rohithsakkaravarthi@gmail.com and we will delete them.

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and limit access to your information to Rohith S. If a breach affecting your information happens, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will apply only to information collected after the change, unless you agree otherwise. See also our Terms of Use.
